Apostle James clearly says "If one of the brothers or one of the sisters is in need of clothes and has not enough food to live on, and one of you says to them, 'I wish you well; keep yourself warm and eat plenty,' without giving them these bare necessities of life, then what good is that?" that our actions have to reflect our faith. After all unless one produce good deeds them one faith is just a lot of hot air, as good deeds are the natural result of a strong and committed faith
Below you can find out where we are putting our faith into actions. Hunger Lunches We came up with the idea of once a month having an event that would raise awareness of problems in this world and help raise money to solve them. We came up with the idea of having a simple form of food like soup and bread and inviting a guest speaker in to talk about the work their organization does. So far we have representative from Water Aid and an organization helping the homeless. The University Chaplaincy kindly supported this idea and we host it in the University Chaplaincy lounge at lunch time. For more details email

Cartridge Recycling Scheme
We also suggested that we start a printer cartridge recycling scheme to raise money for the sponsor of live stock, plants and other essential items for 3rd world countries. Once again the University Chaplaincy kindly supported us in this venture. For more information contact
